Every day, an enormous amount and variety of data is being generated, much of which either goes unused or disappears entirely. Within this sea of information, there is a growing subset of environmental data that has been systematically collected and analyzed since the turn of the century, providing new possibilities and methods for raising awareness. Numerous applications and websites exist for monitoring environmental data, but the majority of them are not designed for the general public and/or lack innovative data visualization and interactive features.E.A.R.T.H. is an envisioned web application that seeks to serve as a comprehensive archive and resource center for global environmental data. Its design is intended to cater to the wider public, in hopes of being a universally recognizable and accepted resource in the future. In addition, the application will investigate new ways of visualizing and interacting with information, as well as enhancing user experience. E.A.R.T.H. aims to educate and bring awareness to the general populace, restore nature and the environment, track data by partnering with global organizations, and obtain help and support to combat environmental change.
